Thame Support Fund

On August 16, 2024, the remote Nepali village of Thame in the Solu Khumbu district was devastated by a catastrophic flood caused by a nearby glacial lake bursting its banks. The Thame Support Fund is providing essential aid to the residents of Thame during this critical time, as well as supporting their future needs. The fund will be administered through Kopan’s Helping Hands, who will work directly with the residents to assess and allocate the funds effectively.

The Thame Support Fund is now closed and all funds raised have been disbursed to Thame families in need. Thank you so much to all that offered your kind support.

We invite you to read the January 23, 2025, FPMT news report on how the donations were disbursed to those affected in Thame.
