Rinpoche bought a young male buffalo, to liberate (save) for the long life of His Holiness the Dalai Lama and also for some Kopan monks who are sick. Rinpoche named him Bodhichitta. He was very unusual. He sat down before Rinpoche begun the mantra recitation.
