Puja Fund
The Puja Fund sponsors extensive prayers and practices dedicated for the benefit of all beings, including every donor who contributes to this fund. The pujas and practices are for healing, success and the removal of obstacles. They are offered by up to 10,000 ordained Sangha on the most powerful days when merit is magnified. In addition, monthly offerings of gold, saffron, brocade, robes, and umbrellas are offered to some of the holiest statues and stupas in India, Nepal, and Tibet. more…

The Lama Tsongkhapa Teachers Fund preserves the unbroken Tsongkhapa lineage, and cultivates the foremost scholars of tomorrow. The fund provides a monthly stipend for the abbots and senior teachers of Sera, Drepung, Ganden, Rato and Tashi Lhunpo monasteries, and Gyume and Gyuto tantric colleges. The fund also enables hundreds of monks to attend the annual Gelugpa exam and monks and nuns to attend the annual winter debate in India and Nepal. more…

In 2003, Lama Zopa Rinpoche was requested by Drukpa Rinpoche, a Bhutanese Lama, to take care of his remote monastery and nunnery in the Tsum valley, located in the northern border area of Nepal close to Tibet. The monks and nuns of the two places were in desperate need of help, being unable to support themselves any longer. Lama Zopa Rinpoche asked Tenzin Zopa, a disciple of Geshe Lama Konchok, to take on the task of finding support for the people of Tsum. more…
